Financial stability

Financial stability (Rahoitusjärjestelmän vakaus in Finnish) is released annually in the spring, as a issue of the Euro & talous in Finnish and in English in the Bank of Finland Bulletin. In the Financial stability issue, the Bank of Finland monitors international developments and provides evaluations on the current state and future prospects of the financial system. Recurring financial crises in different parts of the world and the major structural changes that have transformed the financial markets have increased the need for authorities to conduct analyses of developments in the financial system and the related risks.

The Financial stability issue has been published since 2003 in both print and in PDF format on the Bank’s website. Financial stability may also be subscribed to electronically, in which case the subscriber receives an alert via email immediately after a new issue has been released online.
