The Bank of Finland publishes its macroeconomic forecast twice a year in the 'Economic outlook' ('Talouden näkymät' in Finnish), a issue of the 'Bank of Finland Bulletin'. The forecasts are published in June and December. The forecast report, which focuses on the Finnish economy, is prepared by the Bank's Monetary Policy and Research department. The report also presents the Bank of Finland's assessment of the future trends in the international economy upon which the Finnish forecast is based. The forecast report reviews recent economic trends and presents the outlook for the present and two subsequent calendar years. Printed copies of the Economic outlook may be obtained from the Bank of Finland free of charge. It may also be subscribed to electronically, in which case the subscriber receives an alert via email immediately after a new issue has been released online.
