This statistical review gives a comprehensive description of the Finnish economy, particularly from the monetary policy viewpoint. The review includes the chapters Key interest rates, Exchange rates, Balance sheets of the Finnish MFIs, Finnish contribution to euro area monetary aggregates and their counterparts, Deposits and other financing, Loans, Balance of payments, Financial accounts and Key economic indicators.
Financial Markets is issued monthly on 3rd banking day (see the Bank's announcement of release dates for statistics for the exact dates).
The main publication channel for Bank of Finland statistics is the Statistics directory on the Bank's website. The statistical review, Financial Markets, which is published in PDF format on the Bank's website, will change in terms of content. A new-format statistical review will be released on the third banking day of each month – starting on 3 July 2008. The review will include a selection of key tables. All statistical tables and charts are available on the Statistics directory in interactive form.
