The Bank of Finland has started to publish a new electronic collection of articles known as BoF Online. Available in both Finnish and English, the articles focus on issues of topical and current interest, with particular relevance to monetary policy and financial and payment systems, aiming to bring these issues to the fore in public debate.
The first articles available in BoF Online are Sampo Alhonsuo's article on threats to the financial markets, viewed from an economic perspective (available only in Finnish), and Päivi Heikkinen's article 'Regulating the payment card industry'.
BoF Online will be available in PDF format on the Bank of Finland's web site. Readers can register their contact details on our
mailing list in order to be alerted by email of any new articles in the series.
