FAQ: Statistics

Can I use statistics directly with computer programs?

You can use statistics shown on the Bank of Finland website easily and directly with regular computer applications. It is now possible to download all tables and charts shown, using the statistical application, directly into XML, CSV, Excel or PDF form by adding &Type=XML, &Type=CSV, &Type=Excel or &Type=PDF after the URL address. For example, address http://www.bof.fi/Stats/default.aspx?r=/tilastot/markkina-_ja_hallinnolliset_korot/euribor_korot_today_en&Type=XML produces the table ‘Latest Euribor rates’ directly in XML form.

The latest interest rates published by the ECB are available on the Bank of Finland website and directly in XML form on the ECB’s website at http://www.ecb.europa.eu/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml.
