Zuzana Fungáčová holds a Ph.D in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE-EI) in Prague. Her dissertation dealt with the impact of the privatization method on stock market creation in transition countries. She also holds a degree of M.A. in Economics from CERGE-EI and a degree of M.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Ms Fungáčová has been employed as an Economist at the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition (BOFIT) since September 2007, specialising in issues related to the development of Russia’s banking and financial system. Ms Fungáčová also worked at BOFIT as a Visiting Researcher in spring 2006.
