Introduction

Professor Iftekhar Hasan has been a scientific advisor to the Research Unit at the Bank of Finland since 2000. He is E. Gerald Corrigan Professor in International Business and Finance at Fordham University's Schools of Business . He is also Director of the International Center for Financial Research.
