Introduction

Professor Iftekhar Hasan has been a scientific advisor to the Research Unit at the Bank of Finland since 2000. He is Cary L. Wellington Professor of Finance at the Lally School of Management and Technology in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is also Director of the International Center for Financial Research.
