Aaron Mehrotra is adviser at the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition. His areas of expertise include the Chinese economy and economic policy, and monetary policy in transition economies. Mr. Mehrotra’s research has been published in academic journals including the Journal of Comparative Economics, Economics of Transition and China Economic Review. He is the Editor-in-Chief of BOFIT Discussion Papers.
Aaron Mehrotra is also docent (adjunct professor) at the Aalto University School of Economics. He has worked as visiting economist at the Austrian National Bank, and as visiting professor at the Kyiv School of Economics, Ukraine. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
