Introduction

Juuso Vanhala works as a Research Economist at the Monetary Policy and Research Department, in the Research Unit. His areas of expertise include research in labour economics and the modelling of labour market frictions in DSGE models.

Juuso Vanhala joined the Bank of Finland in 2006. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Helsinki and University College London (UCL) and received his doctoral degree in economics in 2007. Previously he has worked as an economist at the Monetary Policy and Research Department/Office for Monitoring (World Economy Team), as a visiting researcher at the Bank of Finland Research Unit as well as a researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Helsinki.
