Documents available to the public from the Bank of Finland
Under the Act on the Openness of Government Activities, the public has the right of access to official documents in the public domain. This section includes lists of publicly available Bank of Finland documents (in Finnish) in what is known as the Official Journal. The Journal contains all publicly accessible correspondence. Information about other Bank of Finland activities can be found elsewhere on this website. For information about older issues, please contact the Bank's archives via Document Services.
The Official Journal list does not show the actual documents, but rather provides Journal extracts on the subject areas. Once you have found the respective data on the subject you are seeking please contact the relevant Bank official and ask for the document. You can also ask for more details from the official or department concerned.
Please note that the Bank can only provide existing documents. Summaries or new documents based on existing material cannot be specifically prepared. Nor may the Bank disclose classified information. If the document you are requesting the Bank to disclose contains classified information, the Bank will inform you about this or will disclose only the parts containing public information.
The telephone number to document services and registry is +358 10 831 2850 and email kirjaamo(at)bof.fi.
