The Bank of Finland wishes to raise economic awareness and works in close cooperation with teachers of economics to improve the economics knowhow of the young. The website 'Eurokampus' at www.euro.fi offers a selection of teaching material. The information and assignments available relate to both the interpretation of statistics as well as management of personal finances. The site also provides a link to the Bank's new online game Finanzity, which is especially well-suited as a teaching tool.
The Bank of Finland is also involved in arranging economics competitions for upper secondary school students. Similarly, the Bank of Finland museum is designed with Finnish school children in mind, and a guided tour of the museum can easily be integrated with studies in economics.
