Call for Papers

Conference on  

Financial Literacy Gaps and the Cost of Living Crisis 
12-13 June 2023 

Conference organised by the Bank of Finland’s Financial Literacy Centre. 

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Professor Annamaria Lusardi (George Washington University) 

TOPICS: We invite researchers and experts to submit papers covering issues in all areas connected to financial literacy, household finance management and the cost of living crisis. The conference will contain both academic and policy-oriented sessions. Possible topics include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following 

  • Financial resilience and economic empowerment 
  • Personal or household finances 
  • Tailoring effective financial education programmes to different groups 
  • Digital finance 

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Those interested in presenting a paper should submit a copy of their research or analysis in Word or pdf format via the online submission form. Please submit either an extensive abstract or a complete paper via Call-for-papers / Financial Literacy Gaps and the Cost of Living Crisis (lyyti.fi). There is no conference fee. The deadline for submission is 10 March 2023. The authors of accepted papers will be notified by early April.
