Bank of Finland rules for counterparties and customers – Rules update 21 November 2021
On 20 July 2021 the Governing Council of the European Central Bank adopted an updated version of the Guideline governing the TARGET2 system. The updates concerned e.g. the accession of TIPS-DCA holders to TARGET2, the accessibility requirement as well as an update of the data security requirements for TARGET2 interfaces. These rules will come into force on 21 November 2021.
Additionally, there is a description of the changes to the rules to be applied to agreements made with the providers of T2S web services, which will only come into force as from 13 June 2022.
