Laura Vajanne D. Sc. (Econ) (59) has been appointed as Head of Statistics within the Bank of Finland's Financial Stability and Statistics department. Ms Vajanne will take over the position from 15 October 2011. The position is for a fixed term, until 31 October 2016.
Ms Vajanne is currently on leave from her position as advisor to the Financial Stability and Statistics department and is working as senior expert within the European Systemic Risk Board's secretariat in Frankfurt, Germany.
