A position is due to become vacant for a Member of the Board of the Bank of Finland, from 1 January 2013. At its meeting today, the Parliamentary Supervisory Council decided on initiation of the application procedure to fill the vacancy. Members of the Board serve a five-year term.
The announcement concerning application for the position of Member of the Board of the Bank of Finland will be published on the Bank of Finland’s Internet site www.suomenpankki.fi today on Friday 28 September 2012 and in the Sunday edition of Helsingin Sanomat, 30 September 2012.
The Parliamentary Supervisory Council requests that persons interested in applying for the post leave in their application by 12.00 am on Friday 19 October 2012, at the latest. The Parliamentary Supervisory Council will decide on the nomination at its meeting on 26 October 2012.
