Jinsok Sung is an energy market researcher at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. His researches energy market issues with a focus on global liquefied natural (LNG) gas market. He received a Bachelor's degree at Hanyang University, South Korea and defended a Ph.D. dissertation at the department of International Oil and Gas Business, Gubkin University. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on natural gas pricing systems and price-competitiveness of LNG pricing mechanisms. He published over 40 papers and monographs and spoke at international conferences more than 20 times. His works have been published at IMEMO (Institute of World Economy and International Relations, Russia), Oxford University Press and Moscow State University and presented at international conferences such as Singapore International Energy Week, IAEE and Sakhalin Oil and Gas. He took part in 3 research projects of small and mid-scale LNG working group of Energy Center, Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO.
