Research
Razvan Vlahu is an Economist in the Economics and Research Division of De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch Central Bank). He has represented De Nederlandsche Bank in several consultative bodies including those of the BIS (BCBS Research Task Force) and ECB (Macro-prudential Research Network). Prior to joining the central bank he was affiliated to the University of Amsterdam, where he taught graduate and undergraduate courses in banking and corporate finance. Razvan works on financial stability and regulation, systemic risk, and governance and resolution of banks. He has published in Journal of Financial Intermediation, Management Science, Journal of Banking and Finance, International Journal of Central Banking, and Journal of Economic Surveys. He holds a PhD from University of Amsterdam, a MPhil from Tinbergen Institute, and a BSc from Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest
