The Parliamentary Supervisory Council of the Bank of Finland has today appointed Pentti Hakkarainen LLM, MSc (Econ), as member of the Bank of Finland Board for a further term of five years, with effect from 1 February 2012. Pentti Hakkarainen, who is currently Vice Chairman of the Board, has been a member of the Board since 2002.
