The Bank of Finland’s discussion series entitled Talouskirja Nyt, focused on recently published books on economics, continues at the Bank of Finland Museum. Iiro Viinanen and Esko Seppänen, who have spent their respective careers on opposite sides of the political spectrum, will engage in a discussion on economic ideas, values and current topics.

Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland, will discuss with the authors Iiro Viinanen and Esko Seppänen on their Minerva publication Vasen oikea, oikea vasen (‘Left right, right left’). The event will be held on Tuesday 7 February 2012 at 17.30.

The venue will be the Bank of Finland Museum at Snellmaninkatu 2, Helsinki. Entry is free of charge.

The Talouskirja Nyt discussion series addresses economic concepts through literature. The sessions present books recently published in Finland on a variety of economic issues, and the authors discuss the topics raised with specialists from the Bank of Finland.
