Update 22 June 2015
The Governing Council of the ECB approved the amended TARGET2 Guideline on 2 April 2015. The updates in the document relate to the changes occasioned by the TARGET2-Securities (T2S) settlement platform that will be launched on 22 June 2015. The Bank of Finland has updated the rules for the TARGET2-Suomen Pankki system accordingly. In addition to the updated parts, new sections ‘Rules on the opening and operation of a dedicated cash account in TARGET2-Suomen Pankki’ and ‘Rules on autocollateralisation operations’ were added.
In addition, new account agreements, namely ‘Account agreement: DCA account with overdraft facility’ and ‘Account agreement: DCA account without overdraft facility’, were added to the Bank of Finland rules for counterparties and customers. These will be signed on the opening of the T2S Dedicated Cash Accounts.
