The Parliamentary Supervisory Council has today appointed Master of Laws (trained on the bench) Marja Nykänen as a member of the Bank of Finland Board for a new 5-year term beginning on 1 February 2022. At the same time, the Parliamentary Supervisory Council has re-appointed Ms Nykänen to the role of Deputy Governor as from 1 February 2022.
Marja Nykänen has been a member of the Board of the Bank of Finland since 2017 and Deputy Governor since 2018.
