Bank of Finland rules for counterparties and customers – Rules update 16.6.2025
The Bank of Finland rules on monetary policy operations and collateral have been updated. They now include ECB Guideline on the management of collateral in Eurosystem credit operations (ECB/2024/22 with amending guideline ECB/2024/36) and amendments to the Guideline on the implementation of the Eurosystem monetary policy framework (ECB/2024/37).
In addition, the document Implementation of monetary policy operations and collateral management at the Bank of Finland included in the Bank of Finland rules has been updated. Furthermore, pledge agreements used with the Bank of Finland’s monetary policy counterparties have been revised.
The changes will enter into force on 16 June 2025.
