Bank of Finland’s Annual Report on Responsible Investment 2024 has been published
The Bank of Finland’s Annual Report on the responsible investment of the Bank’s investment assets has been published. The report discusses, among other things, the climate impacts of the Bank of Finland’s own investment assets and also, for the first time, discloses the Bank of Finland’s calculated share of the climate indicators of the Eurosystem’s monetary policy programmes for corporate and covered bonds.

The Bank of Finland’s climate target for its investment activities is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 at the latest. To support this climate target, asset class-specific interim targets have been set to monitor the trend of the overall target.
The climate indicators have been calculated in accordance with the Eurosystem’s jointly agreed reporting models. The Bank of Finland’s Annual Report on Responsible Investment has been prepared in compliance with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
