Scam phone calls in the name of the Bank of Finland
Scam callers have sought to obtain the online bank details of call recipients.
The Bank of Finland is the country’s central bank and we do not offer banking services to private individuals. The Bank of Finland never calls anyone to ask for their online banking codes, passwords or other personal bank details, and does not ask anyone to make payments or transfer money.
If you suspect a scam, end the call immediately. Do not give the caller any personal or banking details. Scam calls may also be from international numbers. If you become the victim of a scam call, you should report this to the police.
