Bank of Finland rules for counterparties and customers – Rules update 15.6.2026
On 4 May 2026 the Governing Council of the European Central Bank adopted Guideline amending Guideline (EU) 2022/912 on a new-generation Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross Settlement Express Transfer system (TARGET) (ECB/2022/8) (ECB/2026/11).
The Bank of Finland has made corresponding additions and changes. The rules can be found in the collection of rules governing the TARGET- Suomen Pankki system, see Bank of Finland rules for counterparties and customers. These rules will come into force on 15 June 2026.
