Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland is due to participate in the International Monetary Fund's Spring Meeting in Washington DC on 15-16 April 2011. Mr Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund's Board of Governors.
Over the weekend, both the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) and the joint IMF/World Bank Group spring meetings will be convened.
The Bank of Finland will also be represented by Pentti Hakkarainen, Deputy Governor at the Bank, by Olli-Pekka Lehmussaari, Head of International Affairs and by Kaija-Leena Rikkonen, Senior Economist.
