In addition to research publications, the Bank of Finland publishes a variety of different studies and reports. These publications do not meet the criteria set to scientific research, but they cover topics which are important from the viewpoint of the central bank.

BoF Economics Review includes analytical studies on monetary policy, financial markets and macroeconomic developments. Articles are published in Finnish, Swedish and English. Readers benefit from previous knowledge of the topic.

Expository studies (previously A Series) are pragmatic publications, which cover financial issues that are, for example, monetary policy, financial stability, money and payments and financial literacy.
