Research papers completed at the Bank of Finland are initially published mainly as Bank of Finland Research Discussion Papers, which the Bank seeks to have published as refereed research in recognised international journals. In addition, the Bank of Finland's Institute for Emerging Economies publishes its own BOFIT Discussion Papers series, a more practically oriented BOFIT Policy Brief series, forecasts for Russia and China, and statistics on Russia and China.
Scientific monographs are compilations or other Bank of Finland monographs.
Research papers published in non-refereed scientific publications are listed under Other research publications.
