Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland, is due to participate in the International Monetary Fund’s Spring Meeting in Washington DC, on 17–18 April 2015. Mr Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund’s Board of Governors.
During the course of the weekend, both the IMF’s International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) and the joint World Bank-IMF Development Committee will convene for meetings.
The Bank of Finland will also be represented by Deputy Governor Pentti Hakkarainen, Head of International Affairs Olli-Pekka Lehmussaari and Senior Economist Satu Kivinen.
