Annual Review

Responsibility for the compilation of balance of payments was transferred to Statistics Finland on 1 January 2014. The Bank of Finland’s last annual review of Finland’s balance of payments was published on 30 September 2013. Statistics Finland will publish annual data on Finland’s balance of payments on its website on 15 September 2014.

Topics covered by the review are the current account, foreign direct investment and portfolio investment. The publication also includes a charts section and a supplementary annex of tables (Excel). Data on direct and portfolio investment, which were previously published in separate statistical bulletins, are now included in the annual review and will no longer be appear as separate publications.

The review is published in October.
