The ECB launched a strategy review in January 2020. The aim is to ensure the ECB’s monetary policy strategy is fit for purpose, both today and in the future.

The strategy review covers all aspects of the ECB’s monetary policy, within the framework of the ECB’s mandate to maintain price stability. The review will be based on a thorough, comprehensive analysis and will take an open-minded approach.

As part of the strategy review, national central banks will organise listening events to hear opinions from civil society organisations and central banks’ other stakeholders.

Attendance is by invitation only. The event will be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing.
