IMF to present its review of the Finnish economy

The head of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) mission to Finland Alex Pienkowski, will present the IMF’s concluding statement on the Finnish economy at a press conference to be held on Tuesday, 23 January 2024 at 10:00 in the Bank of Finland auditorium, Rauhankatu 19, Helsinki.

The IMF reviews the economic developments of each member country on a regular basis. During their visit to Finland, IMF staff will discuss the economic situation in the country with representatives of different authorities, research institutes and other concerned parties.

The press conference is open for mass media journalists. Registration in advance to the Bank of Finland communications unit is compulsory. Please register for the press conference by 11 am on Monday 22 January 2024, using this link.

Please note that participants may be asked to present their press cards and identity cards with a photograph.
