The Governor of the Bank of Finland, Erkki Liikanen, will participate in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington DC on 23–25 September 2011. Mr Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund's Board of Governors.
The International Monetary and Financial Committee and the Development Committee will also convene in connection with the Annual Meetings.
Deputy Governor Pentti Hakkarainen, head of International Affairs Olli-Pekka Lehmussaari as well as economist Satu Kivinen will also participate in the Annual Meetings.
