Governor of the Bank of Finland to attend IMF Spring Meeting

Erkki Liikanen, Governor of the Bank of Finland is due to participate in the International Monetary Fund's Spring Meeting in Washington DC on 19–20 April 2013. Mr Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund's Board of Governors.

Over the weekend, both the IMF’s International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC) and the joint IMF/World Bank Group Development Committee will be convened.

The Bank of Finland will also be represented by Pentti Hakkarainen, Deputy Governor at the Bank, by Tuomas Saarenheimo Head of Monetary Policy and Research, by Olli-Pekka Lehmussaari, Head of International Affairs and by Kaija-Leena Rikkonen, Senior Economist.
