​The Governor of  the Bank of Finland, Erkki Liikanen, will participate in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, 10–11 October 2014. Governor Liikanen represents Finland on the Fund’s Board of Governors.

Governor Liikanen will deliver the annual meetings speech of the Nordic-Baltic Constituency.

The International Monetary and Financial Committee as well as the Development Committee, which is a joint forum of the IMF and the World Bank, will also convene in connection with the Annual Meetings.

Deputy Governor Pentti Hakkarainen, Olli-Pekka Lehmussaari, Head of International Affairs, as well as Economist Mervi Toivanen will also participate in the Annual Meetings.
