​A panel of internationally renowned professors of economics, commissioned to appraise the Bank of Finland’s research and analysis activities over the past five years, has completed its evaluation. Similar reviews were undertaken in 1999, 2004 and 2009.

The report covers both the scientific quality of the research and its importance for the Bank’s objectives. The report also contains recommendations on how research activity in the future could be further developed.

The three panel members were:
