Research
Edouard Challe is a Professor of Economics at Ecole Polytechnique and a CNRS Senior Research fellow (Directeur de Recherche) at the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST). He has also taught at the Universities of Paris Dauphine, Cambridge (UK) and Columbia (US). His research focuses on speculative bubbles, precautionary saving behaviour, macroeconomic policy, heterogeneous agents, and the role of institutions. His work has been published in leading international academic journals such as the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economic Journal, International Economic Review, European Economic Review and Quantitative Economics.
