Travis Ng teaches at the Department of Economics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He directs the university's Economic Research Centre. He has taught courses such as industrial organization, law and economics, economic analysis of public policy, microeconomics, financial economics and game theory. He does both empirical and theoretical research. The effects of competition have been his long-term research focus.
