Cyberattacks could cause systemic risks in the financial sector and for that reason Nordic central banks have set up a forum to foster a closer cooperation on cyber resilience and cyber security.
In order to further support the exchange of best practices, the Bank of Finland hosted the 2nd Annual Nordic Cyber in Finance Conference in Helsinki on 29 November 2018, with the other Nordic central banks as co-hosts.
The conference dealt with current topics in the cyber resilience and cyber security in the financial sector and focused primarily on issues with a systemic perspective in financial market infrastructures. The event featured a distinguished line-up of speakers from cyber security industry, financial institutions and authorities.
